2018 is the 40th year of China's reform and opening-up. The development and expansion of China Carbon Black Institute(hereinafter referred to as CCBI) is the epitome of this stage and the contributor of this great process.
In July 1964, the State approved the establishment of China's first and only carbon black scientific research unit -China Carbon Black Institute.In 1965, because of the need of construction of three lines, it moved from northeast to Zigong, Sichuan Province, to build the first carbon black research base in New China. From then on, it led China's carbon black industry to take the road of development.
In 1999, CCBI was transformed into a scientific and technological enterprise. In the face of new opportunities and challenges, CCBI has worked out a so-called "three supports, two wheels" innovation development strategy, which takes scientific research, industry and service as three supports and uses scientific research to bring products and technology to work on two wheels simultaneously. And on the basis of innovation, rapid development of product industry and engineering industry has been realized.
Confronted with the increasing uncertainty of carbon black trade and the instability of general contracting projects, although the road ahead is full of thorns and hardships, CCBI bravely faces the challenges and always adhere to innovations. CCBI focuses on accelerating the development of new materials and new technologies for carbon black, improving operation management and marketing and promoting industrial restructuring with the development of new technologies, new materials and industrialization of results. It has not only promoted the technological progress of China's carbon black industry, but also promoted the level of industrialization and international competitiveness of China's carbon black industry in an all-round way. It also promoted the rapid growth of the scientific and technological strength and comprehensive strength of CCBI.
While focusing on scientific research, development of engineering and product markets, the Institute has also launched a cooperation with universities, working hand in hand with Zhejiang University, China University of Science and Technology and Sichuan University, etc., to form a cooperative model of joint leadership, participation and co-innovation between enterprises and universities in order to realize win-win development of production, learning and study and promote enterprise innovation ability.
Carbon Black China held by CCBI has been internationalized to become the largest and most influential academic conference on carbon black in China.Carbon Black China is well received by carbon black industry and related industries at home and abroad. It has been playing an important and positive role in building consensus among the carbon black industry, spreading industry information and promoting the sound and rapid development of China' carbon black industry. CBC has been a large platform for carbon black industry to discuss decelopment and innovation.
With the upgrading of carbon black technology, the development of special equipment for carbon black, the development and popularization of environmental protection technology for carbon black and the subdivision and development of multi-function and new energy of carbon black products, CCBI has made outstanding contributions to the development of carbon black industry in China.
CCBI will continue to focus on the global integration of carbon black solutions suppliers to strengthen technological innovation to form a carbon black-based, special carbon black suppliers as the direction.
